Fruits and vegetables have so many health benefits, ranging from improving circulation, to reducing harmful free radicals, to protecting your skin from sun burn. David Murdock, the owner of Dole Foods, is probably one of the very few Americans who actually follows the recommendations of the USDA to eat 9-13 servings of fruits and vegetables every day. But it has paid off. He is 86 years old and still has the energy and vitality to exercise an hour every day and travel all over teaching others about good nutrition.
